What is there to see & do in and around Shoalhaven Heads?

Locally:

Within walking distance of the park, most of the ‘Heads can be explored. The Bowling and Recreation Club is just up the road and the majority of the shops are within 5-10 minutes walk. The Heads Hotel, which is on River Road, is approx. 20 minutes walk from the park.

The beach is around 15 minutes walk away. The beautiful Seven Mile Beach is patrolled by the local Surf Club from October until Easter.

The Australian Kite Flyers Society hold a regular fly day on the first Sunday of the month at the beach by the Entrance to the River.

Visit the Shoalhaven River and try your hand at fishing off the wharf or take the the kids to explore the safe beach area. Flathead, Jew Fish, Bream and Whiting are all caught locally.

The Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course is on Staples Street close to the beach.

After a game, enjoy the hospitality that will be extended to you in the licensed club house.

Relax and stay for drinks on the verandah in the bar overlooking the 15th green.
