What to See & Do
The beach is around 15 minutes walk away. The beautiful Seven Mile Beach is patrolled by the local Shoalhaven Heads Surf Club from October until Easter.
The Australian Kite Flyers Society hold a regular fly day on the first Sunday of the month at the beach by the Entrance to the River.
Visit the Shoalhaven River and try your hand at fishing off the wharf or take the the kids to explore the safe beach area. Flathead, Jew Fish, Bream and Whiting are all caught locally.
The Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course is on Staples Street close to the beach.
After a game, enjoy the hospitality that will be extended to you in the licensed club house.
Relax and stay for drinks on the verandah in the bar overlooking the 15th green.
Vineyards & Wineries
Coolangatta Estate, Mountain Ridge and Two Figs Vineyards are all within a 5 minute drive from the Park. For the locations and information of all the South Coast Wineries and Vinyards visit the South Coast Wine Region website.
Berry
The historic township of Berry is a scenic 10 minutes drive. Go right when you get to the Shoalhaven Heads / Bolong Rd intersection then take the 2nd left which is Coolangatta Rd. This takes you straight to Berry. More info: Berry website
Nowra
The closest regional town is Nowra and this can be reached by car in around 20 minutes. Turn left at the Bolong Rd intersection and follow the signs to Nowra.
